Winter

It’s cold—really cold! The snowflakes flicker in the wind each one with its own unique design. I meticulously examine each delicate figure as it swings in the air. They gradually settle on a the snow, and become obscured in the depths. The crystals sparkle as the sun beams stoke the air onto the pile.
Snowman are being constructed and snow finds its way an eager child’s hand. They are launched and slam into a sturdy coat and plumps to the ground. Before you know it, there is a battle of flinging snow crystals. Laughter, giggles , and smiles echo through the streets. Snow angles make an appearance, and skates shriek and they carve into the ice. The children love the snow.
The streets are cloaked with snow and there is no way of driving out.
Eventually I give in as I prance along the snow to join my friends only to be greeted with coldness that splashes on my coat.
