When You Realize

Does he even notice?
Does he even care?
I haven’t told him so I am not being fair
What if he does?
No—no way
I can’t think about this it’ll never be the same

I tried to tell him
But choked on my words
When I saw him
Flirting with a girl

My heart was crushed I can’t say it now
Now I know he will turn me down
And someone told me he already knew
I couldn’t believe it but it’s true

How long has he known?
Right about now I wish I was home!
Sadness and pain is all I feel
I say I am over him but that isn’t real

Winter

It’s cold—really cold! The snowflakes flicker in the wind each one with its own unique design. I meticulously examine each delicate figure as it swings in the air. They gradually settle on a the snow, and become obscured in the depths. The crystals sparkle as the sun beams stoke the air onto the pile.
Snowman are being constructed and snow finds its way an eager child’s hand. They are launched and slam into a sturdy coat and plumps to the ground. Before you know it, there is a battle of flinging snow crystals. Laughter, giggles , and smiles echo through the streets. Snow angles make an appearance, and skates shriek and they carve into the ice. The children love the snow.
The streets are cloaked with snow and there is no way of driving out.
Eventually I give in as I prance along the snow to join my friends only to be greeted with coldness that splashes on my coat.

My Life

My life is a puzzle always missing a piece.
My family is the picture never quite complete.
My feelings form a circle that just keeps spinning.
I try and try but I am just not winning.

Everything was easy everything was nice.
Reality hit me, so I have to roll the dice.
Where ever I go whatever I do.
The feeling is sad and lonely to.

I have friends who help me through.
I’m glad I have them to help me to.
Yes it gets better but the pain is still there.
I am happy now, so I sit and stare.

As life goes on I will remember.
The friends I made since the first December.
Life is great if you live it right.
I tried and tried and won the fight.

Love

Love isn’t found in money or riches.
It’s found in those you care about, trust, and respect.
You don’t have to be related or from the same bloodline.
You just have to feel something real.

You can show love in service, words, even gifts.
It’s from the heart.
The soul itself.
If you nourish it and spread your love, it will grow.
If you prevent it from growing, then it will wither away.
Shrinking until it is nothing but an emptiness.

Betrayal

Betrayal is dangerous.
It can be from only those closest.
Someone you trust lets it slip and it’s out.
It causes pain and suffering.

Betrayal isn’t a game.
It’s real.
Someone gets hurt.
There is no going back.
The line is crossed.

Betrayal causes destruction.
It takes a lot to get the trust back.
Because when you go over the line, sometimes your friendship follows.

Friends

The ones who know your faults and judge you on them are fakes.
The ones who don’t know your faults don’t care.
The ones who know your faults and except them. Those are the friends to keep.

Katniss

 Katniss

Love is rosy pink.

It tastes like the fresh strawberries that Gale and Katniss pick.

It smells  like the bread that they shared before the reaping.

It feels like the warm secured good-bye  hug before Katniss got on the train.

It sounds like the teasing and jokes Gale told while hunting.

It looks like the gentle smiles and laughs.

Love is a melody that you’ll keep singing.

Talent

I am trying to get people to help sponsor the talent show this year! I showed my principle and he approved if I get enough sponsors we can have it I really hope I succeed wish me luck bye!

The Big Surprise

My principal comes in and says we are going to have a few changes

1. No more “special food”

2. Our phone will be taken away on test days

3. We will have a signed seats

4. If we are late to class five points will be subtracted from our average

5. We will have a week of extra school

I wasn’t happy I was furious! As they continued the anger increased I was about to go insane! Then I realized it wasn’t real! It was fake so that we could feel what it was like back in  the days!

The Pain!!!

Recently I hurt my ankle on the trampoline. I was bouncing and jumping around when I heard a “snap”! The pain spread through my ankle it felt like it was bit by a snake and the “poison” began to spread. As I screamed in fear and excruciating pain my brother and sister argued over who would get my dad! I needed help I did not care who got dad! My dad heard my screams and yelled at my sibling,s and  he threw a chair to show his frustration.  The tears began to storm my face as my whole body trembled. No basketball or cheer anymore I can’t run, jump, or do anything for the rest of the semester.
